Shivram Chakraborty has written countless stories about the Harshavardhan-Govardhan duo, one of the most popular in Bengali literature. In addition to short stories, he has also written novels, plays, short stories and even poems in this series. In addition to stories written for children, there are also several mature writings. But like many other writings by the author, most of these works have been lost to time. All of the various collections that were published later under different names like 'Omnivas', 'Samagra' etc. remain incomplete. Even the same stories, completely or partially, are compiled under different titles in two volumes.Like most of Shivram Chakraborty's writings, no authorized collection of stories written about Harshavardhan-Govardhan has been published before. This is the first time that 'Book Farm' has taken the initiative to publish all those stories in installments with the permission of Shivram's real heir.The original ornaments, which are surrounded by a rock, have also been retained, as a signature of the inseparable pair of Shivaram and Shail.
